👋 From Coach Marc: Why I Started Sportgility
After nearly 10 years of thinking about it, I’m finally launching Sportgility — a youth training program built to develop real athleticism: speed, power, and agility.
Big thanks to Danny and the CrossFit Lehi community for making this happen. We’re running the entire program right here in the CFL gym.
Over the last two years, I’ve had my 10-year-old son in three different speed/agility programs — and I left every one of them disappointed. They were fine… but they were missing major pieces. No sprint mechanics. Barely any mobility. No strength work. No power development. Just a lot of fast feet and cones.
A lot of kids are playing year-round sports, but they’re not actually becoming more athletic.
It doesn’t build the athletic foundation they need. They’re not getting faster. They’re not building real strength. And they’re definitely not improving how they move.
Speed is one of the biggest separators in youth sports — and most sports teams and programs aren’t training it the right way.
Sportgility is built to fix that. We train sprint mechanics, explosive movement, and overall athleticism. So you can excel in your sport.
So this is it. The program I’ve been wanting for my own kids. The one I’ve wanted to build for years.

📅 CURRENT PROGRAM INFO
Development Training (Ages 9–17)
This is our core training session for youth athletes focused on developing speed, strength, agility, and confidence. Each session combines elements of sprint mechanics, explosive plyometrics, barbell training, mobility, and coordination work.
What athletes get:
• Sprint work (acceleration, top speed, form)
• Strength development (bodyweight & barbell)
• Plyometrics for power and control
• Isometric and eccentric strength training
• Mobility and movement quality
📍 Ideal for ages 9–17. Groups will be tiered by age and ability within the session.
📆 Mondays & Wednesdays @ 3:45 PM
Cost: $125/month (Non-CFL) | $100/month (CFL Members)
- 2 performance training sessions per week

Performance Track (Advanced Group – Ages 13+ by invite)
A more advanced training option for athletes who have completed the Development track or qualify through evaluation. Will include higher-level sprint programming, Olympic lifting, and advanced plyometric sequencing.

We offer private, custom training for teams looking to develop speed, strength, and conditioning in the off-season. Programs are tailored to your sport and team needs — designed in collaboration with your coach and run at CrossFit Lehi.

🧠 ABOUT MARC
I’m not a pro trainer. I’m a dad, a CrossFitter, a competitive Olympic lifter, and a former D1 sprinter trying to build something better for youth athletes — starting with my own kids. I’ve coached CrossFit, football, basketball, and now competitive youth basketball. I’m USAW-certified (in progress), and I’ve trained under Les Spellman’s Speed Lab program — the same system used to prep NFL combine athletes.
This isn’t a side hustle. This is the program I wish existed 10 years ago.
